danzig

i'm starting to really get into this band lately, dunno why.

danzig is 50 some odd year now, wierd to think about, to me.

you might wanna check out Black Aria. (make sure it's I and not II)
it's an instrumental cd that he did by himself.
my friend's mother hated it because it sounded like funeral music, but i loved it, and so did my friend.

i don't mind some of danzig's other stuff, but sometimes it seems like he's played Dungeons & Dragons too much.

heh.. i've no paid much attention
to lyrics... just like he sraight-fowardsness about the music

black summer and momma seem stick out so far...

the guy's vocals also very good- lots of control and range

funny thing, tried to see danzig a a show a while ago...

he opened for samhain...

Hmm. Danzig is a very odd man, who never aged well. The older he got, the more obsessed he became with sex and death, and not rock'n'roll.

I enjoyed everything up until the next-to-last album. Then I just cut and ran back to the Misfits and Samhain days. One can only get so much of a Jim Morrison Zombie before it gets old.
